"My exploration of the kingdom of God is a particular quest to discover and apply a greater understanding and clarity of the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth to my own life in a genuine, reproductive manner. I desperately desire to generate fruit that will glorify my Father, God, both in my personal character and in the lives of others. Perhaps one of the greatest discoveries was the understanding was that throughout the majority of the first 20 years of my Christian experience, my 'goal' was to simply 'survive' this life... and make it to heaven when I die.
As I continued to study and meditate upon the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, I realized that He actually spoke very little about 'going to heaven when you die.' Instead, He seemed to speak more frequently about bringing heaven to earth where we live, by the lives we live in Him and He in us." (page 21).
